50 Fabulous Facts About Eric on His Fifth!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIC
1. Eric Allen was born at 3:01am at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN
2. He was due on April 24th and showed up 3 days later! Much to mama's dismay 
3. Eric was 8lbs 3oz and 20 inches long
4. Everyone was so excited to finally meet him
5. We spent much money on film and now use much computer space on pictures
6. Eric has always been a very scheduled child. Even as a baby, he was a good sleeper and thrived on routine
7. He became a big brother at just 13 months old
8. He didn't hardly say a word until he was 2 1/2 everyone thought something was wrong but Rick and I knew he was fine
9. It was easy to tell he understood things, he was just waiting for something good to say…….
10. His first word was COOKIE!!
11. He has always loved oreos (so does Rick)
12. Eric loves the PlayStation
13. He has great hand/eye coordination and loves to keep trying at games.
14. He uses only blue sippy cups in the morning and has a glass of OJ ... EVERY morning!
15. Every spring I have to beg him to wear shorts and short-sleeved t-shirts. He doesn't like having his skin exposed.
16.Even when he was little he would stop doing whatever it was he was doing to fix his pants. Hated them creeping up his legs.
17. Eric was a very pudgy baby and is now one of the smaller kids his age.
18. Today he weighed 39lbs
19. He loves the dentist and getting his teeth shined
20. He loves race cars and the noises they make
21. Daddy taught him how to make skid marks in the driveway this week
22. Eric freaks out if his socks are too loose. Likes them snug
23. Doesn't like getting new coats. Always a battle to convince him he needs a bigger one.
24. Favorite colors are yellow and blue
25. He is learning how to pump his legs on the swing
26. He used to push this red truck around everywhere! I was always afraid he'd crash and land on his face
27. Eric looks just like his daddy
28. Eric loves Go Fish Guys and singing along to his CD's
29. He can count to 100
30. He can count to 30 in Spanish
31. He can spell simple words. And knows some by sight like... Menard's, Target, Fleet Farm, Dog, Pig, Daddy, Pause, Play, Start, Sam, Eric, Mommy, Race
32. He used to love the wiggles and blue's clues
33. Eric’s new favorite show is Pinky Dinky Do
34. His middle name also belongs to his daddy, grandfather and great-grandfather
35. His first name is after his great-grandfather Eric- Grandma Eagen’s Dad
36. He didn't potty train until after 3 1/2 years. Then it took about a day
37. Eric is the best cuddlier, he used to make this little purr sound when he'd snuggle up
38. He's had the same pooh blankie since he was a baby
39. He has a very specific bedtime routine
40. He sleeps with brown teddy from Grandma E
41. He sleeps with purple baby
42. He sleeps with bob the builder pillow
43. He sleeps with his nascar pillow
44. He sleeps with his sharkie
45. He sleeps with his Blue Clues puppy
46. He sleeps with his Grandma blankie
47. He picks his favorite Hot wheel cars to sleep with and much more if we'd let him!

49. He can almost stay in the lines when he colors
50. I love him more than words here can say, I thank God for entrusting him to our care. What a gift Eric is!
